The national statistics agency reported that Mexico’s GDP expanded by 0.6 % in the second quarter of 2025, slightly below the 0.7 % preliminary estimate.
By sector, tertiary activities (services) rose by 0.8 %, secondary activities (industry) by 0.7 %, while primary activities (agriculture) contracted by 2.4 %, a sharper decline than the initially estimated −1.3 %.
Year-on-year, from April to June 2025, GDP grew 0.9 %, with primary activities up 2.6 %, tertiary up 1.8 %, and secondary down 0.3 %.
The Global Indicator of Economic Activity (IGAE) also rose 0.2 % month-on-month in June, and 0.9 % year-on-year.
