Mexican exports of cosmetics and personal care products reached $1.13 billion between January and April 2026, up from $1.02 billion during the same period a year earlier.
The United States remained the industry’s largest export market, accounting for roughly 60% of shipments. The remaining 40% went to other international destinations, including markets across Latin America.
Mexico ended 2025 with more than $3.15 billion in beauty and personal care exports. It also ranks as the third-largest cosmetics producer in the Americas, behind the United States and Brazil.
According to Mexico’s cosmetics industry chamber, the country’s manufacturing base is large enough to supply both domestic demand and international markets.
Mexico’s production capacity, integrated supply chains, and trade agreements have helped establish the country as a regional manufacturing and export hub for beauty and personal care products.
